Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Easy replacement of the control panel. Just had to remove the frame by hand. Remove 2 screws and plug 2 small plugs into the back of the circuit board by hand. Water working again in about 10 minutes. There were no instructions with the new part but it turned out to be so simple that none were really needed. Read more

Bought replacement part, exact fit. 2 screws out, 2 screws in EASY PEEZY. Hardest part was finding my 3/8 socket and waiting for the part which came way faster then expected. Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap.
