Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap. Left hand side
I bought this part to fix the basket hanger on my Mom's fridge. It worked perfectly. The only thing to know about the pic of part is it says it is left side hanger and it is but the pic is confusing. I had to print out the pic and turn the pic upside down to make sure it would work on the correct side for the fridge. It is truly the left side but the pic makes it look like it is the right side hanger. Confusing, I know but for it to actually show it is the left side the image of the part... Read more
