I took the easy fix first and replaced the Capacitor. That got me three loads before the motor burned out. I ordered the motor from AppliancePartsPros.com after a google search for "best price model # 134159500 Drive motor " The part arrived in 5 days, and it took about 15 minutes to remove the old motor and replace it with the new one. When I removed a bunch of very wet soaking towels at the end of a wash cycle, it was clear that the water was not draining properly. The washer also made a very loud noise during the water drain period. That was suspicious. I ordered the part, opened the washer, removed the old pump and faced with a nasty surprise. You may laugh at this, but there was a toothpick in the old drain pump! most of it was still there, and it seemed like the toothpick was stuck in the pump in such a position that it... Read more
This tub-to-pump hose connects the washer's outer tub to the drain pump, channeling water out during the drain cycle. Replacing a worn hose helps stop leaks and restore consistent draining when the original is cracked or deteriorated.
Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day! Read more
This trunnion plate secures the washer's inner basket to the drive hub/trunnion, keeping the tub centered and stable during spin. Replace it if the basket feels loose, wobbles, or makes scraping/knocking noises from the hub area. What it does:
The seal at the bottom of the tub had started to fail. On large loads water would leak so I ordered a new one rubber seal. Getting the trunnion off the transmission shaft was hard as it was calcified and corroded. I used a wire brush to get some of it off and then used a lot of WD-40. The bolt holding the trunnion plate on sheared off when I tried to remove it on one side and the other came out ok (the bolt hole through the trunnion is not threaded so it should slide out once the plate is off... This tub cover seal fits between the outer tub and the tub cover/splash guard on compatible washers. It keeps wash water and suds contained, helping prevent leaks from the top of the cabinet during agitation and spin.
I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. This fix costed me $35 instead of the $400+ for a new washer glad i looked into it instead of discarding it and buying a new one as most may do thanks Read more

Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. The Videos, ARE AWESOME. Read more
