When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. • Doesn't shut off

I first unplugged the dryer, lifted the top of the dryer, then removed two screws that hold the front panel to the side panels. I removed the cable clip that holds the wires for the switch to the front panel, and removed the wires from the switch. I then removed the switch from the clip that holds the switch in place. My original switch had only one connection at each end, but the replacement had two at one end and one at the other. The terminals at the one end were labeled NC and NO. I... Read more

I ordered a replacement door latch. It was simple to snap off the plastic trim bezel on the inside of the door, then raise the existing latch and unhook it from its guide. (Lift and pull sideways until it snaps out of its track.) Read more

I unplugged the microwave and took off a couple of screws and security screws to access the inside panel. Noticed the door latch bracket was broken.....replaced it and put it back together. All in all took about 15 minutes and the problem was fixed! Read more
