Drum spider support broken Debbie E. • Elizabethton , TN • February 14, 2015
New inner drum and front and rear outer drum; although other parts worked, still replaced the bellow and clamp, new door latch, and cleaned the hoses. Washer works great. Just like brand new. Even though matching dryer works, I am going to clean it up and replace some parts on it also.

The existing bake element was not working light bulb was also burned out. Mike P. • Stone Mountain , GA • December 02, 2017
I simply removed and replaced the bake element and light bulb. The only difficulty I had was working around the open oven door. I relied on the Appliance Parts Pros videos for procedures on how to do this safely and correctly. I would not have attempted this repair without the videos. The only problem I had was the $5 screws ($10 for the two I purchased) were not the same type as the original scews and they did not "grip" the oven wall properly so I had to re-use the original screws which were...

F02 fail to drain repeated suds warnings John C. • Eagle River , AK • February 18, 2019
Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ...

Neptune mah4000 had a no spin but did pump water out but not all of it Guillermo S. • Chicago , IL • March 06, 2017
I had the problem couple years ago I bypassed unbalance switch it worked fine for a couple years and had the same problem again so ruled out unbalanced switch. Door lock light on and checked made sure wax motor pushed out all the way too the second switch for spin check OK, so took a chance on displacement switch x2. My family loves to over load it and also replaced by passed unbalance switch and boom every thing went back to normal. Its also good to clean every thing when apart.

Solenoid operated inlet valves for whirlpool washer were leaking by Paul H. • Arlington , VA • December 04, 2016
Scoped out the repair online, then ordered the parts. Anticipating problems getting an old hose off, so I ordered that as well. Glad I ordered the hose; had to cut the old one off. Repair was easy, based on what I learned from online videos. Didn't even have to move the washer, which made it so much easier.

Horrible noise when in use expecially during spin cycle Gerald S. • Pecatonica , IL • September 20, 2014
Tore entire machine down to get to wash drum. Found it had a broken "spider" which is common with most front load machines. The drum is stainless steel but the spider is cast aluminum and it does not do well when exposed to laundry soap. It was pretty much disintegrated as a matter of fact. Anyway my machine is twelve years old and after some smooth talking, I was able to convince Whirlpool to send me a new wash drum at no cost. My warranty was one of the older ones and the drum had a...
