System suddenly stopped dispensing ice and water. The light for the ice and water dispenser also stopped working. But some of the buttons for "extra ice" and "filter reset" still seemed to work. The potential root cause could have been: -main power dispenser control board -ribbon cable -dispenser control board -water valves at the back of the fridge. First, I will never, ever make the mistake of unscrewing anything on an appliance while it is still connected to power - what started as a cosmetic fix on the freezer door ended up costing me $340 to fix after I shorted out one of the boards for the dispenser. Replaced both the Ice dispenser power board and Ice dispenser control board.
