My problem started with a rusting condition in the ice bin that spiraled out of hand. I took apart the ice bin and all the hardware thinking I could clean it with the suggested baking powder. Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. This is the second time of needing repair. I remove the ice bucket, open the crusher, remove the 5 blades. Straighten the blades, reinstall. I then order new blades, The next time it happens I will install the new blades.
