I had to disassemble the ice bucket, there were three screws to remove the cover, one screw and a tension spring that holds the bar in place that controls ice cubes from crushed ice. The hardest part was removing the plastic chamber where the ice crushing blades are attached to the auger, I had to use a couple of butter knives to spread the outer ice bucket away from the inner ice chamber because they had those funky plastic lock-in tabs that lock the ice chamber in place to the ice bucket. It will snap into place when done correctly. This cap handle is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The cap handle is made of durable materials and sold as an individual unit. This cap handle fits on various models of refrigerators. It is compatible with appliances manufactured by General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA.
Super easy took less than 5 minutes to install all parts! Every part was correct and fit beautifully. I used a razor blade to cut the ends of the water line before placing the union connector, other than that no tools required. Be sure to fill the water filter before install to minimize the air explosion that I experienced, just blew water all over me as I was running the water to clear the line. Drain at least a gallon and a half before consumption, you will see a color and clarity change. Read more

This replacement part is a snack pan slide rail, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. This part is able to hold up other trays and racks in the refrigerator and freezer so that extra shelf space can be utilized. These slide rails can also hold up trays that can support heavy bottles and drinks. A new snack pan slide rail might be needed if the current ones have become stripped and are unable to latch onto the shelving to support it. It is common that these parts can become brittle over time as exposure to low temperature wears down the plastic. Be sure the shelving of the appliance is clear before attempting to replace the slide rail. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This replacement part is compatible with different types of appliances made by General Electric.

Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. The ice auger took the longest as I was afraid of breaking the plastic housing trying to get the tabs to release. Had to watch the video twice to make sure I got the blades back in the right order.... Read more
