Refrigerator won't cool and compressor won't run? A faulty start relay prevents the compressor from starting. Moderate DIY repair, 30-45 minutes.
Check compressor with my Hotwire kit I made when I worked for GE. When removing the compressor relay it broke in pieces. Ordered and replaced new relay, overload & run capacitor. Still did not work. Check if there’s power to compressor and found no voltage. Took control board out and found a component burnt. Ordered and replaced control board. Everything is back to normal. Love your service. Parts was supposed to come in 3-5 days but came next day instead. I am very very impressed and grateful.... Read more

We bought a used fridge and forgot to get the hardware to mount the doors. Looked up the model on your website. Using the pictures I was able to order just the parts I needed and not to duplicate anything (or leave anything out!). The parts arrived and because I watched the "how to" video I knew to use the "trick" to hold the doors up while attaching the hardware. Had the doors mounted in less than 15 minutes!.. Refrigerator light not working? This light bulb socket holds the bulb securely and provides electrical connection. Easy DIY repair with video guide.
Had some confusion of what part I needed, needed the one with the motor and thermostat. Fortunately, I've been fixing wiring for many years, I simply cut the new motor out of the harness, and used that nice glue-inside-heat-shrink tubing to seal the soldered 'Western Union' style splices. New light socket and lamps fit fine, worked fine, new motor is fine, problem resolved. FYI: Look closely at the wiring in you unit, there are two wire harnesses, one feeds the light, the other feeds the motor... Read more

Fix a dishwasher that won't drain or drains constantly during wash cycles. This drain solenoid valve controls water drainage timing. Moderate DIY repair.
Took the washer out, turned it over and found the solenoid that worked the drain valve to be melted, and the shaft that the solenoid activates was heavily corroded. I found the right parts on your website after reading the notes left by other customers, then watched the video. The repairs were fairly simple and successful. This was a GE profile dishwasher. If your freezer is warm or you hear howling fan noise, the evaporator fan motor may need replacement. Moderate DIY repair taking 2-3 hours to restore cooling.
Replaced the evaporator fan motor. On line video did a good job showing how to remove and install the motor. It took about 2 hours to remove, 3 days to recieve the new part and 3 hours to put it in. Plugged in the refrigerator and looked at the freezer temp the next morning and the thermometer was at zero degrees F with good air flow. Refrigerato temperature is reading 40 degrees F. Read more

Replacement mounting screw for refrigerator shelves, drawers, and internal components. Needed when screws are lost, stripped, or damaged during repairs.
I ordered the new slides for the shelves, the order came in a couple of days. All parts were there. The husband installed new slides and bearings in about 20 minutes with minimal effort. He said the hardest part was contorting his torso to be able to use the screwdriver. All good thank you. Read more
Rubber grommet that mounts the evaporator or condenser fan motor to its bracket. Replace when worn, cracked, or missing to reduce vibration and noise.
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
