This foam insulation wraps the refrigerator's water reservoir to reduce sweating and help prevent freezing, keeping dispenser flow consistent and the fresh food compartment dry. Replace if the original insulation is torn, crushed, or missing. What it does:
- Insulates the water reservoir to help maintain a stable temperature
- Helps prevent the reservoir from freezing, which can slow or stop dispenser flow
- Reduces condensation that can drip or puddle inside the refrigerator
- Restores proper cushioning and protection around the tank
What's included:
- 1 foam insulation piece for the water tank
Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Remove shelves/drawers to access the water reservoir area
- Carefully remove the old insulation; avoid stressing or puncturing the reservoir and tubing
- Fit the new foam snugly around the tank, reassemble, restore power/water, and check for leaks and dispenser flow
