Cushions where the washer lid meets the top panel to soften closure and protect the finish. Replace worn, cracked, or missing bumpers to reduce noise.
The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. Parts cost around... Read more

I ordered a new mode selector and new tub bearing. Upon disassembly, I noticed that the plastic outer tub had actually heated up around the tub bearing and tub seal area, such that the new tub seal did not fit tightly. I ordered a replacement outer tub, and reassembled all the new parts. During assembly, I installed the new tub seal upside down, but recognized it while re-watching the how-to video. I pulled the assembly back off and flipped the seal over, then reassembled it again. I also put... Read more

Replaced the hub nut, tub bearing split ring, tub seal, hub washer and agitator coupler. I watched multiple times the APP video. It was extremely helpful and I would not have attempted this without seeing the video. I had a lot of trouble getting the hub nut off. I used an 1 5/8" 6 point strike box wrench and a 4# hammer to get it off. I sprayed it with WD 40 5 or 6 times over of the course of a week to let it soak. I finally got it off. Had I known that the shaft is not round I would have... Read more
Fix a washer that won't spin or hums but doesn't start. This single-speed motor replacement restores spin cycles when the motor windings fail.
First I cleaned out the pressure switch line that allows the motor to kick into gear when the water level is low enough to start the spin cycle. Second, I determined the motor was worn out and could not spin the drum so I order a new motor from Appliance Parts. They had the part in stock and it was shipped out promptly. Third, opened the front of the washing machine to access the motor, removed 4 huts from the under carriage, unplugged the electrical connection to the motor, removed and... Read more
Replaces a cracked, worn, or unresponsive washer touch pad control panel. Restores button functionality and the appliance's front appearance.
I took of the backsplash and took the hose off of the pressure switch and accidently broke off the stem of the pressure switch and the catch parts of the pressure switch. Thanks to your video's really helped. I now know how to completely break my washer down. Actually these parts are the only parts I haven't change out, besides the motor. Your computer system is wrong on the belt. I still haven't received the correct belt I have talked to 3 different tech. They keep saying I am wrong. I am not a dummy. I do know the belt ya shipped is TO SHORT. It doesn't even go around the pulley much less reach the motor. I am lucky for right now my belt is still in good... Read more
