Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. The Bake Element is an OEM part for GE ovens. It is responsible for providing the necessary heat for baking, ensuring that the oven reaches and maintains the correct temperature for consistent and even cooking results. Measuring 18" from side to side, 17-3/8" from the mounting bracket to the back, and 2 3/4" between terminal centers, it's designed to deliver 2585 Watts at 240 Volts.

REPLACE door hinges and door handle (about 30 minutes) 1. Open the door to the first catch. 2. Lift the latch keepers (stoppers) on the hinge. 3. Lift / pull the door away from the oven. 4. set on a flat surface with inside of door up. 5. Remove three screws on the bottom of the door. 6.
