Spark electrode with a 29 inch female terminal.
Internet suggested if yellow light happened time to replace. Bought two since I was having trouble with both for years. Would have been nice for a video to exist. The removal was nothing like what is out there and extended the time of the job. Read more
This screw-and-washer fastener is a factory-size 8-18 x 5/16 hardware piece used to secure appliance panels and components. Replace stripped, rusty, or missing hardware to restore a tight, rattle-free fit and proper alignment. What it does:
I removed the burners, which were rusted and needed some tapping. They were pretty stubborn to remove from the insert. I removed the spark igniters, which were rusted where they screwed into the burner and then removed the venturi tubes.. Once this was done, I installed the new igniters to the underside of the new burner. I then installed the burners, which only took simple placement and a quarter turn to lock them in. I then hooked up the igniter wire to the new spark igniters. The repair... Read more
This rocker switch controls the exhaust function on the appliance's ventilation system. It restores reliable on/off control of the blower when the original switch becomes worn, sticks, or fails. What it does:
First check to see how many leads your switch has before ordering - I ordered before I took things apart, and got an incorrect 2 lead version when I needed a 3. On starting the repair, at first thought I might have to take apart console - but happily, no. After turning off power, just carefully pried the old switch out (putty knife to depress plastic clips above & below), pulled out gently (not much slack on wires) and removed the old wires by gently easing them off the broken switch with a... This is a single piece of glass, you must reuse the window frame.
Removed 3 screws on top of door, 3 screws on bottom if door which released glass front. Then removed 4 nuts on sheet metal window cover to get to window. To get to the broken glass there was one tab on the corner of the window frame that had to be bent upward to loosen the frame. Removed the broken glass, slid in the new glass, re tightened the frame and put everything back together. It took me a little longer than it should have because I forgot the reverse order for putting it back... Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
This genuine OEM part is a cooktop grill burner. The grill burner is the component part that allows the gas flame to spark so that the stove can perform its job of cooking and heating. If the stove burners are no longer producing a flame or not turning on at all, it might be time to replace the grill burner. Luckily this is a relatively simple repair. To start, make sure that all power to the stove has been turned off by either unplugging the appliance or shutting off the circuit breaker. Close the shut off valve on the propane gas tank. Remove the cooking grate and the flame tamer from the top of the damaged burner. Pull the cotter pin out of the back of the burner. Remove the burner mounting screws. Pull the burner back then up to remove it from the manifold and remove the burner. Place the new burner into the manifold and fasten the mounting screws. Reinstall the cotter pin and flame tamer and restore the gas and power back to the appliance. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand stoves.

A shoulder screw that secures appliance components and provides a precise pivot or spacer point. Replaces a missing or worn screw to restore alignment, reduce rattling, and keep panels and assemblies securely in place. What it does:
I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more

A hi-limit safety switch that stops heating when temperatures get too high, protecting the appliance from overheating and helping prevent damage. Designed to replace a failed thermal cutoff to restore safe temperature control. What it does:
Started with checking temp control in the oven. Worked fine. Next was testing high limiter switch. Every place stated switch was on the back panel, found mine place under the right burner cartridge. Took some finagling to expose it. Bought a new one, two wires to disconnect along with two small screws to secure switch, slapped it in and I was in business. Oven that was out of commission for over two weeks (never buy a part from Sears, always deal with APP's!) was on the road again! Read more
