The Spark Module is an OEM replacement part for GE gas ranges. It is responsible for generating electric sparks to ignite the gas burners on the cooktop. The spark module produces consecutive sparks when a surface burner knob is turned on, which ignite the gas mixture and allows the burner flame to ignite safely and consistently.
Causes of a bad spark module can include faulty electrodes, worn internal components that hamper sparking, or damage due to moisture intrusion or power surges over time.

My problem was intermittent spark and then no spark. My first fix was to give my wife one of those long BBQ grill lighters but after about a week she told me to "FIX IT". I called and they told me possible problem, i replaced the electrodes but it doesnt solve the problem, called CS and i did replaced the spark module and it works. i save money put of doing it myself. thanks for your excellent customer service Read more

I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. This valve switch includes a orange hub and sparks at the 11 o'clock position. For the gray hub valve switch order WB24K10003.
Cleaned/ soaked all burners in Ammonia and scraped off the remaining with a pumice stone. Oiled all screws. Replaced (4) ignitors or electrodes and module kit/ right front burner/ burner switch harness. Although this was the third order of switches from 3 different places including the local supplier due to the switches being manufactured upside down and lit on low on the first attempt. Once I watched the video on your site about gas line install, it became apparent why the line bent when I raised the lid.. also discovered those two rods have nest to go into and the lid/top now sets down tight as designed ( and as an added bonus, gas smell disappeared during oven use) I ordered the gas lines with the model number, ordered all four …. it was a bit of a chore one came up when site opened I picked it, but did not know if it was the RH or LH etc.. so reading some of your answers... I entered the stove model number and was able to find all the correct parts for repair. I purchased 2 burner lines and 4 ignitors. The shipment came and all parts were correct. The installation was a snap. Since then I’ve bought more parts for the range vent hood and am currently waiting for those parts to arrive and overhaul the hood.
