First, the reader should know that the oven is a GE wall oven, model JKS05P1 and it was 22 years old when I made the repair. I bought the door seal from Appliance Parts Pros so used the directions in the Q&A for this part. I loosened the screws as directed, but the old seal wouldn't budge. I searched online for other directions and discovered the screws needed to come out and the inner-liner needed to be pulled forward just a bit. The GE web site showed that the error code, which appeared and shut off my wall oven frequently, was probably a bad sensor. I located the model number and part number and ordered the new sensor. The installation was somewhat difficult because the oven had to be completely removed from the cabinet and the oven back removed.
