- Air leaks or obstruction at the baffle can cause frost or unusual air noise near the vent
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
- Remove shelves and the interior vent/diffuser cover to access the baffle
- Retain and transfer any screws, clips, or seals from the original part as required
- Seat the new baffle fully so the seal engages evenly; reassemble and verify airflow

The freezer cold but refrigerator too warm. Gerard F. • Honolulu , HI • September 02, 2022
First I did the obvious: Changed the evaporator fan motor and condenser fan motor. Then I realized there was too little air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator, so I replaced the air baffle assembly. Now everything works again.

Water in the door stopped working Patrick M. • Midwest City , OK • December 19, 2019
I had the water filter holder replaced to fix the problem with the water for the door and the ice maker. The holder did not come with the cover for the release button for the filter. I ordered a replacement cover (Button) for the filter release. The cover fits over the release lever and was easily snapped onto the lever. It took more time to unpack the button from the packaging then it did to install it onto the filter housing. I don't understand why this part wasn't included with the new...
