Tried to turn the microwave on, checked the outlet for power, check the breaker to see if it was tripped, all was in order. Removed the over the range microwave and pull the covers, Tested continuity with a multimeter for each of the 4 normally closed thermostats, found 2 bad (open). The upper 110 and the lower right 70. I removed one screw from the vent cover on front top of the microwave and removed the cover. This is necessary in order to replace the door. I then lifted the door off of the hinges and then reversed the process. I opted to replace the entire door because it was cheaper than replacing the handle, plus it took less time.

My microwave turntable stopped turning Jeremy N. • Deer Park , TX • January 15, 2017
I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor. I unplugged the two wires connected to the motor, removed the 2 screws holding the motor in place, then put the new motor in place and reversed the steps to complete the job.
