Fix rattling noise or warm temperatures in your fridge. This evaporator fan motor restores cold air circulation. Straightforward DIY repair in under an hour.
I removed both basket guides, removed the ice cube maker then removed the back wall panel, all only taking around 10 min. This gave me access to the fan, removed 2 more screws, disconnected 3 wires, all with connectors, then went in reverse to install new fan. 1/4" nut driver and a pair of needle nose pliers is all you need. The pliers are to remove the plastic wire keepers on the fan. Read more

Freezer running too warm or too cold? This thermistor cover shields the temperature sensor for accurate cooling. Simple snap-in installation fixes misreads.
Took things apart after watching the videos and saw the ice maker was functional but all corroded or dirty with stuff from water and in watching the video realized the water on the floor was unrelated to the ice maker. I bought the parts to make the repair. Two comments to the videos, the one for the icemaker should show how to get the top basket out of the freezer. Secures washer door handles to the outer panel. Replace if stripped, missing, or damaged to restore a tight handle fit and prevent loosening.
The plastic piece on the handle where the screw goes in to hold glass door up had broke. I ordered new handle, the retainer pieces that go over the plastic pieces to lock it all in and screws that were suggested. The screws were the wrong ones. They were way too small. I already had one screw and thankfully only had to buy 1 new one because the screw was $40 and shipping’s $10 for it AND it’s on back order right now. The old retainer ring that goes over plastic piece was a nightmare to remove... Read more
