The problem was that the motor coupler & shaft had a tiny bit of rust at their union. With the weight of the ice bin it rusted in the lowest position. This didn't allow the motor coupler to float on the shaft. There is a spring inside the shaft that pushes up on the motor coupler keeping it engaged in the ice bin coupler above. I ordered the valve inlet and Ice Mould from Appliance Pros and upon their arrival I watched the video on APP.com and installed the parts in about the time it took to view the video. Freezer is ice free and ice bin is full of perfect cubes.
