Compression nut for 5/16" plastic water line.
Pulled bottom kick panel off, removed the one screw that held the light bracket on, unplugged the light connection, had to file a small burr off the bracket and pushed the light into the slot, reconnected the push on connector, replaced the screw for the bracket, replaced the kick panel, and marveled at my accomplishment. I learned an $84 lesson, I discovered an adjustment screw on the auto damper control that has never been talked about anywhere on Google. The new part only brought the temp down to 40F. So I adjusted the screw counter clockwise 2 revolutions and checked the temp again after about 6 hours. The temp had dropped 4 degrees, so I gave it another 2 revolutions and now it's down to 30. The temp setting levers are on 5. I'm not certain what the temps should be at the settings 1-9 but I'm satisfied... Read more
Plastic defrost pan. Evaporator pan hangs from side rails and rests on compressor.
Replaced temperature control. Very easy replacedment. The only problem I had was the screw that held the cap tube bracket twisted off. I had to drill out and retap the bracket.and replace the screw. I srongly recommend if you are not equipped to perform this task is to order a replacement cap tube bracket and screw when ordering the temp control. Read more
