This oven door hinge will work for either the left or right side of an oven door. The hinges on the door are responsible for ensuring that the door can open and close properly. If one or both of the hinges are not working correctly, the door may become difficult to open and close or may not stay on the oven. Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions).
