This cooktop gasket seals the gap between the cooktop and countertop to help prevent spills and moisture from entering the cabinet while restoring a secure fit and finished appearance. Ideal when the original edge seal is worn or missing. What it does:
- Seals the cooktop edge to keep liquids and crumbs from getting under the appliance — symptoms: visible gaps, pooling liquids, or debris under the cooktop.
- Cushions and stabilizes the cooktop to reduce vibration and rattling during use — symptoms: shifting or noisy cooktop.
- Protects countertop and cabinetry from heat, spills, and food buildup that can cause staining or damage — symptoms: discolored or damaged counter edges.
- Restores fit and finish for a clean, professional appearance — symptoms: loose or uneven cooktop edges.
What's included: One cooktop gasket. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas, if applicable) and allow the cooktop to cool before starting work.
- Remove the old gasket and thoroughly clean and dry the mating surfaces before installing the new gasket.
- Press the new gasket into place along the cooktop edge; trim excess material as needed without overstretching.

Broken glass stovetop Richard N. • Sumner , WA • May 02, 2016
Bought the new top. Didn't need any other parts. Slid stove out, took of frame, carefully removed fragments. Applied gasket tape, positioned glass on stove, replaced frame (had to push top down to fit under frame). Replaced screws, cleaned stove. Tests it out, everything worked.

The Bake Heating Element is an OEM Replacement Part for Whirlpool ovens, designed with push-on terminals. It measures 14-5/8" from the front to the mounting bracket, 19" in width, and 2-1/2" from the mounting bracket to the terminal end. Our oven was turning out underdone baked goods. Jack H. • Jonesborough , TN • April 03, 2021
The stove is about 19 years old. We had a difficult time getting baked goods to be cooked on the inside as well as outside (bundt cakes especially). I replaced the oven temperature sensor probe, used a digital oven thermometer (as well as the older type) to measure the oven temp. The older, dial thermometer hit and pretty much stayed at the set 350 deg F. The digital one showed a plus/minus 20-degree fluctuation and all seems well. We haven't baked a bundt cake to test, yet, but we will...

Burned out your broiling element in oven Steven W. • Tallahassee , FL • August 25, 2016
When I ordered the correct part from Appliance Parts Pro and, here's the big takeaway, I watched the accompanying video. With this repair there were 4 connectors coming thru 2 openings of the rear oven wall. In the video it advised to tie a twist tie around each so they couldn't slip back into the rear panel. If they did it would have required pulling the oven out, removing the back and guiding the connectors back thru the rear wall openings. TWIST TIES...Wise words!!!! Did as instructed and...

Broken fan switch part # no longer available. Joseph H. • Argyle , TX • May 31, 2020
Be careful not to tighten or twist the small hex nut in the knob cylinder/housing with force. there is a very small plastic set tab that can be broken off easily. how do I know? The orientation of the switch "box" is horizontal instead of vertical. otherwise, this replacement part # works as expected.
I couldn't get the switch to attach plate removed, and the switch removed, without removing the entire cooktop and removing the top glass burner cover. Not difficult, but time-consuming.
