Ordered new inlet water valve and float switch kit. After repairs it now works fine. However the water inlet valve outlet end for fill hose (not water source) and wire connections (supposedly for this unit) were oriented 180 degrees opposite. I had to gently remove the blue plastic valve off the metal support bracket and turn it around and press back in place. Fortunately it appears it was designed for either orientation. 1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. Called Lowes to get it repaired. They sent out a company that was on their approved list. $255.00 and two weeks later it quit again. Opened the panel and the service technican had installed what appears to be a clothes dryer Thermal fuse. I got online and ordered the proper fuse, $27.79 including shipping which arrived in two days via Fedex and installed the new proper fuse. I might add that I am a retired SBC systems technican.
