Loud dishwasher producing dirty dishes Leon F. • Sylmar , CA • November 11, 2015
I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again.

Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor Samuel M. • Sudbury , MA • January 12, 2016
1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed...

Replacement of rusty inner basket Michael K. • Paramus , NJ • April 18, 2015
Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros - super fast shipping, and even though I opted for regular shipping all of my parts arrived the very next day, including the big and bulky inner basket. Disassembly went smoothly, simply following the directions in the AppliancePartsPros video. The only problem I had was that the inner basket simply would NOT come of the drive block no matter what I did. Struggled for a few hours trying to take it off. Then, I called AppliancePartsPros and they said it...

Dishwasher would not turn on Judy H. • Tulsa , OK • June 30, 2014
The part arrived earlier than stated. I rounded up the tools I needed - had to buy a star screwdriver to remove the panel. I watched a youtube tutorial on line before hand - very helpful. I followed the instructions step by step and had no problem removing and replacing the part. I am a 60 year old woman and I only mention that because normally I would have just called a repairman but I thought what the heck - I'll give it a try. this was very easy to do and saved me a repairman's charge. watch...

Leaky gasket due to foul water supplied by local water provider this was the second occurrence in five years Patrick H. • Montgomery , IL • April 17, 2015
Pulled dishwasher from under counter, disconnecting water supply pipe for access. Removed vent and fouled gasket and cleaned pieces with CLR. Reinstalled gasket, reconnected water supply and repositioned dishwasher under counter. Not particularly easy for DIYer but can be done. As a side note, I ordered 2 gaskets for the first repair so one was readily available. When the subsequent repair was finished, I order 2 more, due to low price, for backup.
