I took the back off the dryer and found the hi-limit thermostat in pieces. I went to your web-site, found the part in the parts list, called you at 11:00 am saturday morning, ordered the part, and couldn't believe it when fed-ex showed up monday morning at 11:00 am, with the RIGHT part. Two days from Kentucky to upstate New York, in 2 days, over a weekend, I am impressed to say the least. Did I mention that the dryer is 27 years old. Read more

I tried all the obvious solutions but no luck. I called an appliance repair person and he said it sounded like the timer. He asked for the model number and would get back to me with a price. He called back the next day saying its so old that he would have to special order it and it would take awhile and would cost $200 plus his service charge. After ordering and receiving the new timer I removed the old timer and installed the new one. It took me about a half an hour and now we are back in business. Did I mention the super fast shipping? Thanks Read more
It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat. I ordered a new seal from appliancepartspros.com, and installed it according to their instructional video, but it did not correct the problem. I opened the top of the dryer (after watching the video on your website) and replaced the lever on the switch. Removed two screws near the lint filter, used a putty knife to release fasteners under the top and raised the top. Held it in place with a short piece of board then removed the two screws holding in the switch and lever. Replaced the broken lever with the new one and put it all back together.
