Ordered the parts, which was a pair of ice gears and the bar that connects them. Had to refer to upper freezer drawer to figure out how the gears fit into the rails. Turns out they snap into a plastic hub that is riveted on the rail. Took some effort to finally get them to snap on. At first it seemed like they would not fit. Color: clear. Measures about 28 inches wide by 14 inches deep.
Ordered replacement glass the same day I broke the shelf and I received it within 3 days. All I had to do was drop the glass into the frame in the fridge, so no repair time at all. The hardest part was cleaning up all that glass. Just a note of caution to others doing this. Tempered glass does not just break, it sort of "explodes."
