I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I tested the switches and determined it was the Drive Motor switch that was failing. The repair took a first timer 45 minutes to replace. Pretty easy in my humble opinion Read more

We replaced the lid hinges with new bushings as this is a very old machine and they were worn out affecting the position of the hinges and thereby affecting the lid switch. Also replaced the lid switch, which was a breeze with the help of the video. Thanks to the Covid 19, I was bored and fixed the problem because I had to stay home and do stuff that I was putting off. This washer lid is black in color on the underside. The writing pictured in the picture of the underside of the lid is no longer included as a part of the lid.

I unplugged the machine from the electric socket and removed the drain hose. I then shut the water valves to the unit. I removed the two screws from the rear sides of the control panel. I gently lifted the control panel and tilted it forward resting it on the lid of the machine to expose the control knobs. I removed the rubber tube and the plastic electric clip plug from the water level switch. This allowed me to twist the switch and lift it away from the panel. Time for the replacement... Read more
