Long tub insulation that fits the appliance's inner tub, reducing operating noise and helping stabilize temperature around the tub for quieter, more consistent performance. Replaces worn or damaged insulation to address rattles and drafts. What it does:
- Dampens noise and vibration when insulation is torn, compressed or missing.
- Helps limit heat loss and reduce cold spots that can cause condensation or longer warm-up times.
- Reduces rattling or knocking caused by loose or degraded insulation.
- Intended for specific Whirlpool tubs—verify model fit before ordering.
What's included: One long tub insulation. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and water supply for washers) before starting any repair.
- Remove outer panels or drum components per the service manual; insulation may be held with clips, adhesive, or fasteners.
- Wear gloves and a dust mask—insulation fibers can irritate skin and lungs.

This dishwasher door strike mounts to the tub opening and provides the catch point for the door latch. Replacing a worn or bent strike restores positive latching so the control can sense a closed door and run cycles reliably.
- Provides the catch the door latch locks onto
- Engages the door switch so the dishwasher can start
- Helps keep the door securely closed during operation
- Common symptoms: door won't latch or pops open; unit won't start unless pressure is applied to the door; strike is visibly bent, worn, or missing
What's included: 1 door strike Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker; turn off water if you need to move the appliance
- Open the door to access the strike at the tub opening; remove mounting screws, replace the strike, and tighten securely
- Save and reuse the original mounting screws
- After installation, check latch engagement and adjust appliance leveling or alignment if needed

This dishwasher drain hose channels wastewater from the pump to your home drain or air gap. Replacing a cracked, kinked, or clogged hose restores proper draining performance and helps prevent leaks or water backing into the tub. What it does:
- Routes wastewater from the dishwasher to the household drain or air gap
- A damaged, kinked, or blocked hose can cause slow/no drain, standing water, or leaks
- Visible splits, soft spots, or persistent odors/backflow are common signs the hose should be replaced
- Restores reliable draining and helps protect surrounding cabinets and flooring from water damage
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing
- Pull the dishwasher forward and place a towel or pan to catch residual water
- Match the original routing and maintain a proper high loop or air gap per local code to prevent backflow
- Secure connections with clamps, ensure the hose isn't kinked, and run a test cycle to check for leaks

Leaking from the bottom corner Jack W. • Cary , NC • July 12, 2015
After talking with the rep from appliance pro, she helped me verify wat I needed, everything came as we discussed. After removing the inner door the vent assembly was difficult removing, it does unplug, do not twist it off, had to replace that piece as well. Had to cut of notch on inner door for the vent assembly to reseat properly. It does twist off, just a bear to put back on. once all assembled turned the machine on and no more leaks. Saved a bundle from calling the appliance repair guy.

Control board shorted out during drying cycle with a series of loud popping noises creating a blackened corner of the dishwasher door a pungent electircal fire smell and tripped circuit breaker Charles L. • Concord , MA • November 01, 2014
Replaced the control board after removing the inner door liner, plastice board cover and board itself, by removing screws, working various plastic clips/tabs and unclipping wire harnesses from board. most of time was spent cleaning the black soot from the door, which had a terrible burnt electrical/plastic fire smell. Cleaned mold/scale off of as much of the door as I could while in there as well. Removing parts without breaking plastic tabs to hold the new parts was trickiest part.

I found the grid diagram behind the picture very helpful. I ordered this three other times from different companies and each time received the wrong one. they were all the same one that was too small and there was no way to tell until it arrived. once i git the correct one, all i had to do was twist it into the rinse aid dispenser. thank you.

Door latch on my dishwasher was broken William H. • Columbia , SC • January 26, 2018
Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPro's, watched the video, new latch works perfect. I've repaired several appliances in my house by diagnosing simple problems going to AppliancePartsPro's diagram's, ordering the part and installing myself. Never had any problems. The bearing in the back of the dryer was tricky but worked great. Keep track of all parts when you disassemble and assemble in reverse order. Taking photos as you disassemble helps for referencing if you get stumped.
