35 year old Maytag washer/dryer stack unit with a water leak. Paul K. • Naperville , IL • December 24, 2022
I cannot believe this machine still runs. APP has sold me repair parts for this unit now 3 times. First I wanted to replace the old belts. They still worked but was more a preventative thing. Next was a water control valve a few years ago. This time I noticed a leak near the valve again. I decided to buy a new valve and also replace all the rubber hoses that were 35 years old. The repair took about 3 hours. 1.5 to remove the old parts and do a cleaning that was greatly needed. 0.5 hours to...

General overhaul of a 14 year old machine Todd F. • Wellsburg , WV • January 20, 2016
Model# MAV7257AWW Maytag Atlantis Washing Machine. Repairs were fairly easy along with the videos appliancepartspros offers on their website. Parts also came with instructions on how to install. Other videos were available on You Tube. The only part difficult to install was Thrust bearing kit - make sure when installing to pull down on shaft so washer and e-clip will fit. Another note, you can get a pulley for your replacement motor pulley on eBay and Maytag.com. Just pay close attention to...

Washing machine missing a rubber bumper intermittent operation Robby R. • Brooklyn , NY • April 09, 2015
Called a Maytag repair man, said "the bumpers are no longer available". These little things are actually critical to operation, because the lid safety switch needs to be pressed back far enough to sense that the lid is closed, and without the bumpers, this is a little iffy. I looked up the parts on the internet, came across AppliancePartsPros.com and guess what, the parts were available !!
Ordered, delivered on time, installed, and I'm up and running. Now I don't have to hear my wife...

1 water leaking on the floor at left side and 2 occasionally tub filling a number of inches when sitting Kenneth S. • San Carlos , CA • April 15, 2016
1. Sleeve for input, Injector valve, nozzle and seal for input fixed this problem. Probably the main part that was the trouble was a deformed Injector Valve which is a rubber tube with an internal retention groove at the wide part that grips the Nozzle. The Sleeve and the Nozzle are hard plastic parts that basically looked fine, but I replaced them anyway while I was in there. Additionally I replaced the rubber Seal for Input which seals the plastic input fitting to the tub just to make sure...

Pretty much everything Charlotteanne Y. • Kingston , IL • August 06, 2018
Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"...
