Did not empty error Robert S. • Delaware , OH • January 03, 2016
Initially replaced the pump. However, I believe the pump went bad due to the pressure switch failing and allowing the pump to run continuously. Once I replaced the pressure switch everything was fine. FYI, the wiring harness on my washer was slightly different and would not align to t the tabs on the new switch. I had to remove the black harness guide on top of the switch and just align the harness wires to the tabs manually. My ground wire was separate from the harness. I just plugged it...

This is a Whirlpool washer drive motor and control board. The drive motor and motor control board are responsible for the spin cycles of the washer. A faulty motor may show signs of malfunction through a slower than average spin cycle. When the control board shorts out, the washer typically will not spin at all.Begin installation by removing the body of the washer. There are two screws at the base of the console. Remove these screws and flip the console back. Two clips are holding the body in place. Remove them with a flat-head screwdriver. Push these clips and pull the body off the washer. Now that the motor is exposed, remove the screws holding the motor in place with a nut driver. Two more clips fasten the motor. Push these clips with the flat head, and the motor is free to remove. Unplug the control board's wire harness from the washer. The new component is ready for install after these steps. The part is sourced directly from the manufacturer as a genuine OEM product. This kit is sold separately from the washer. This product is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, and Admiral appliances.

Maytag Neptune MAH4000AWW washer would not spin, or even agitate. Donald O. • Morgan Hill , CA • April 07, 2014
I had watched some videos on youtube to understand how to disassemble & gain access to the various washer components & their location. Very easy. I had first replaced the wax motor, but that was not the problem.
I reviewed the diagnostic procedures that were present near the control board, followed the directions to remove the main plug from the motor control board, which should allow the washer to spin at 50 rpm. No spin, & upon closer inspection, I observed that one of the phase drive...

Front washer baffle had screws rusted off in it Monica B. • Oakes , ND • April 16, 2017
Ordered new baffle and the proper screws with help from appliance parts pros. Took washer apart. Removed soap dispenser cover, washer door, front, lifted top lid, removed seal to be able to access area to get screws in and tightened with a wrench. This part wasn't the easiest as there wasn't much room for my hand(s) to fit in, but just took my time and got it done.
