When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. This is the third time I have had to make this repair. This time it was on a different dryer with a cabinet on top. But tried getting a deal on the package of parts from another retailer, they were all the wrong parts so was out shipping costs. Have always received the correct parts from appliance parts pros. • Doesn't shut off

I first unplugged the dryer, lifted the top of the dryer, then removed two screws that hold the front panel to the side panels. I removed the cable clip that holds the wires for the switch to the front panel, and removed the wires from the switch. I then removed the switch from the clip that holds the switch in place.
