Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more

Watched the video on how to replace. Ordered new roller, which was delivered in just a couple of days. Since the roller had broke, I was unable to roll out the refrigerator, so I tilted the refrigerator back and placed a small furniture slider under the roller frame to prevent gouging the wood floor. Then it was easy to slide out the refrigerator and replaced the roller as explained on the video. I had ordered a pin and bolt, just in case I would need to replace, but didn't need them. ... I replaced the fill valve assembly with a new one. Had to look carefully at the parts diagrams to make sure I ordered the right one since the serial number break old vs. new didn't seem to match the number on my machine. A putty knife is needed to open... Read more
