I did some research on my own and then spoke with the “Pros” at Appliance Parts Pros. Both confirmed the main board needed to be changed. The other less likely item was the oven sensor. I changed the sensor first as it was inexpensive. The error codes continued. Subsequently, I then changed the main board which was slightly difficult. When changing 2 screws hold the board in place on each front corner only. Also suggest you take a picture of wiring. I replaced wiring in place from old board to... Read more

I took a picture of the burneer connections, so I would know how to reconnect the wires later. I removed the broken burner, and check visually for any broken areas in the coil. Made for use on electric ranges, this part is an oven relay control board. The purpose of this part is to receive signals from the main oven control board. This component then operates relays to regulate the oven elements. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it plenty of time to cool off before attempting to perform repairs. The replacement process is fairly easy and takes about 20 minutes to complete. If the oven won't maintain the temperature, it is possible that the oven relay control board is faulty. In many cases, the oven will heat up initially but won't kick in to heat the oven throughout the baking process. The oven relay control board can be tested using a VOM to check for continuity. This oven relay control board is sold individually. It is sourced straight from the manufacturer. This particular part is compatible with ovens that are manufactured by General Electric.
