The Thermistor is an OEM Replacement Part that maintains the temperature inside your Frigidaire refrigerator. This thermistor handles reading the internal temperature. After reading, it transmits this information to the control system. At a temperature of 29 degrees, the thermistor should exhibit a resistance of about 35k ohms. While at room temperature, it should read approximately 5k ohms.
Causes of a bad thermistor can include regular wear and tear, exposure to moisture, or electrical issues. Over time, the thermistor may become less accurate or stop working altogether.
Symptoms of a bad thermistor include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

This is a factory replacement screw fastener used to secure components in your appliance. It restores a tight, rattle-free fit for panels, brackets, and trim when an original screw is missing, stripped, or corroded.
Bought replacement part, exact fit. 2 screws out, 2 screws in EASY PEEZY. Hardest part was finding my 3/8 socket and waiting for the part which came way faster then expected. This is 2nd time APP saved me. Last time was for a 37 dollar relay that my appliance guy told me was my compressor. He told me to buy a new fridge because he wasn't going to replace the compressor. That was 3 years ago, :) Read more

This aluminum strap secures the defrost heater firmly against the evaporator coil to maintain proper contact during defrost. Correct contact improves heat transfer so frost melts evenly and helps prevent recurring ice buildup on the evaporator.
Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap. Re-installed new heater and strap per the video instructions, repair complete. Most difficult steps were drilling out the drain pan rivet and re-threading... Read more

This refrigerator seal restores a tight barrier between internal components. Replacing a worn or damaged seal helps prevent air leaks and moisture intrusion, supporting proper airflow, stable temperatures, and reduced frost or condensation around the joint.
This replacement screw secures designated components in your appliance to maintain a tight, rattle-free fit. Replacing missing or stripped hardware restores proper attachment and helps keep panels and trim properly aligned.
This freezer thermistor is the sensor that reports compartment temperature to the control system. Replacing a faulty sensor restores accurate temperature feedback and normal cycling so the freezer maintains consistent, food-safe temperatures.
This fixed blade sits inside the refrigerator's ice bucket/crusher assembly. It provides a stationary cutting edge that works with the auger and rotating blades to break up cubes, helping your dispenser deliver consistent crushed ice.
This small but critical actuator spring restores return tension in a refrigerator's actuator mechanism, helping the lever reset to neutral after use so controls feel responsive and operation stops cleanly. What it does:
