I bought replacement hinges and installed them myself. The hardest part of the job was the first part: to remove the oven door you have to lock the old hinges with small brackets, and one side did not want to lock--I had to use a hammer. The door was heavier than it looks, but the only challenge after that was the fact that the edges of the door parts were sharp. I probably should have worn gloves when handling them. Followed the video that was on the site. Almost as easy, except mine didn't have a terminal block, just individual lugs. The lugs were a little tight, guess so as they have been on for over 17 years. Took one off at a time and put it on the new switch. With needed floor cleaning, the task only took about 20 minutes. I selected basic delivery and it took almost 10 days. They could have shipped it USPS for faster service, as it only weighed 1/2 lb. Read more
First, i shut the circuit breaker off. Then I slid the stove out away from the wall and unplug it. Next I removed the oven door. Then I gathered all my tools that I would need. I took the front faceplate off and the stove controls to get access to the oven module. I removed and replace the oven module. Then I put it all back together, plugged if back in, slid the stove back in and crossed my fingers and turned the circuit breaker back on. To my amazement, in about one minute it reset itself! I...
