I goggled why my microwave would not heat and found an article on Appliance pros of 3 possibilities. 2 easy to fix..so I started with the first one which was the door switches. Followed the instructions and found the switches,removed them, brought them to my local Ace hardware to check connectivity. 2 of the 3 switches where bad. I referenced the diagram provided on the part page (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/door-parts-for-ge-psa1201rss01.html) to dissemble the door housing and expose the screws needed to remove the old handle and attach the new one. There were a few things I encountered that were not well covered by the diagram: The center piece of the door assembly is attached to the microwave and will remain in place. After cleaning the exhaust ductwork and replacing the thermal fuse, the dryer worked for a few days then quit heating. So, I had to take the dryer apart again and tested the element for a short to the housing. Sure enough, that was actually the problem. I ordered the part, and it came early! The video (which I have now watched probably half a dozen times due to various other repairs) is very easy to follow.
