The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. Ordered a new part from Appliance Parts Pros. Looked online on how to replace it. Used a flat head screw driver to "pop" or pry off the faceplate mounted to the door. Once removed unscrewed two Phillips head screws to access the broken ice dispenser paddle. The old paddle popped off the hinge and the new one easily snapped into place. Removed lower rear cover, compressor was very hot. This is usually a capacitor issue, but the schematic on the back of the unit shows a start/ run relay. For the low cost, I replaced both. parts were delivered in 2 days. The start/ run relay is mounted directly to the compressor. It slides on/ off with a little bit of prying. No fasteners.
