A real oddesy with a Samsung Refrigerator. Samsung customer servicen is a joke, but thanks to Appliance Parts Pros, I have been able to fix the various problems I have had. It is three years old, but began having serious problems about a year ago. The display was out, and the food temp in the refrigerator side varied from 30 degrees in the crispers to 56 degrees on the top shelf. Actually, my 11 year old daughter just removed the old shelves and installed the new ones after wiping the fridge down. Prices were cheaper than I could find on Amazon for the same parts. Everything is now honky dory. Moral of the story - don't store a lots of bottled water in your crispers - they won't take the weight :) Read more

The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more

Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing. Read more

Replace water filter case AP5781884 (DA81­ 05886A) Refrigerator is only 3 years old, so the noise when using the water dispenser or when the ice maker filled was very disappointing and annoying. This repair required removing the rear bottom panel to access the water filter case tubing, removing the bottom drawer in the refrigerator side to access and remove the case (1 screw holds this in), and the bottom front grill to access the 2 connectors for the tubing from the case to the freezer side... Order and received hinges and the parts for the doors that were lost. After plugging it in the open door chimes started and would not stop. I call appliance Parts customer service and tech Dept. They were very patient and helpful with my ordering the parts I needed and tried to get the chimes to stop. The People I talked to were very helpful and patient in trying to fix this problem. Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together.
