This PTC start relay mounts on the refrigerator compressor and briefly energizes the start winding, then automatically opens as it warms. Replacing a weak relay helps restore reliable compressor starts and consistent cooling. What it does:
I bought this relay switch and it works great. On the left side of the compressor there is a plastic cover you pry off with a screw driver. The relay switch had one wire plug on it. Just pull the wire off and the pull the relay switch off the compressor. Read more
The defrost timer governs the automatic defrost cycle, periodically switching the refrigerator from cooling to defrost. Replacing a failed timer restores reliable defrosting to limit frost buildup and help maintain steady, consistent temperatures. What it does:
I replaced the defrost timer and the defrost heater and this fixed the problem. The freezer does not ice up the intake holes to the fridge anymore. Read more
This fan-mount grommet fits the evaporator or condenser fan assembly to isolate vibration and keep the motor aligned. Replacing a worn grommet can quiet rattles and prevent the fan blade from rubbing the housing. What it does:
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
This is the magnetic door gasket that seals the fresh food compartment, keeping cold air in and warm air out to maintain temperature and reduce frost and energy loss.
With the new seal from you. it was nice to have the right part the first time. thanks! Read more
This reversible door plug fills the unused mounting hole when you switch the door swing on your refrigerator. It restores a finished appearance and helps keep air and moisture from entering through the opening.
This replacement screw fastens refrigerator components securely, restoring a tight, rattle-free fit when original hardware is missing, stripped, or corroded. Use it to secure panels, brackets, or trim and keep parts properly aligned.
This power cord assembly supplies electrical power from the wall outlet to your refrigerator. Replace a cut, frayed, or overheated cord to restore safe, reliable operation and eliminate intermittent power loss caused by a damaged cord. What it does:
Spliced new and old power cord near the connections in the fridge and connected them. Didn't mess with the factory harnesses or connections inside actual fridge. Read more
This is a grommet and it is intended for use on refrigerators and freezers. This is a genuine replacement part made by General Electric. A new grommet might be needed if the current one is visibly worn out or damaged in any way. If there are noises from vibration coming from the lower back area of the fridge there might be need for a new grommet. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer, and it is sold individually. It is compatible with refrigerators and freezers, or units with a compressor and is made by General Electric.
Installed new stainless steel pan replacing broken original plastic pan and installed new rubber grommets for the compressor Read more
This replacement clamp secures lines or components inside the refrigerator, keeping them properly routed and stable. Replacing a broken or missing clamp helps reduce vibration and prevents rubbing damage or leaks from loose tubing. What it does:
I replaced all the parts on the back of the refrigerator (tube from valve, water fill assembly, and tube clamp). There is a secondary water fill tube inside the freezer which comes loose when you take the fill assembly off. It fell into the cabinet and I had to remove the ice maker to ensure I got it back on correctly, took an extra five or less minutes. Read more
This replacement screw secures panels, brackets, and other hardware in your appliance. Installing a new fastener restores a tight, rattle-free fit when the original is missing, stripped, or corroded, helping keep components properly aligned.
Hinge missing screws. Replaced 2. Perfect now Read more
This is the flexible perimeter seal for the freezer door. Replacing a worn gasket helps the door close snugly to keep cold air in and moisture out, supporting stable freezer temperatures and reducing frost at the door edge.
This evaporator fan bracket secures the evaporator fan assembly behind the rear panel. A rigid, correct-fit mount preserves blade clearance and airflow across the evaporator coils for steady temperatures while minimizing vibration and noise.
The problem was most likely the evaporator fan motor but it could have been a bad blade, loose parts or bad motor mounts. Hard to tell without taking everything apart and inspecting. Since fridge was 17 years old I decided to order the entire evaporator fan assembly as shown in the parts diagram including fan blade, motor brackets, motor, motor mounts, screws, etc. Getting to the assembly involved removing the ice maker unit plus the entire rear inside of the freezer section. Parts cost around... Read more
This ice maker fill cup directs water from the refrigerator fill tube into the ice maker mold so each cycle fills correctly. Replacing a damaged cup restores consistent ice production and helps prevent water spills. What it does:
Went online to appliance pro, found my model and the ice maker part number. The process was very easily. The order process was also very simple and the part was delivered promptly with installation instructions. Read more
This refrigerator temperature control thermostat regulates cooling by sensing the compartment temperature and switching the compressor on and off. Replacing a worn control restores consistent temperatures and proper cooling cycles. What it does
Replaced the thermostat. Read more
This lid bumper cushions your washer lid where it meets the top panel, softening closure and protecting the finish. Replacing worn or missing bumpers reduces slamming and rattles for a quieter, smoother close.
