Self-tapping screw for dishwashers, dryers, refrigerators, and washers. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws for secure panel and component mounting.
The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. BTW it was not the thermal fuse. All the online videos say this is the first thing to look for when the dryer will not start. Be sure to check with the person... Read more

First of all, I cannot believe that Samsung would actually think that putting the drain pump on the drum was a GOOD idea. The fix was easy, When I bought the washer off an individual, She told me that she was informed the drain pump needed replaced. So I did that. Pain in the a&* du to the location and trying to secure the bolts. It broke off after a week. I found out that Samsung put out a repair bulletin and a customer service rep from this site emailed it to me. After looking up the parts,... Read more

If your washer drum won't spin but the agitator moves, or you hear grinding noises, the clutch assembly likely failed. Moderate DIY repair.
Washer was making terrible grinding noise while trying to wash or spin and finally quit working. Repair center tech on the phone after some nagging stated it sounds like the clutch is bad. This washer was only 4 months out of warranty, and I got a $450+ repair estimate. That is more than half the cost of a new washer so that was not a option for me. Watch the video on Appliance Pro's on how to replace the clutch assembly in a Samsung washer. Washer used in their video is not the same as my... Read more

After some research I discovered the design change Samsung did 3 months after my model was manufactured. Instead of spending $110 on the "redesigned" part I took a good look at it and determined I could disregard the current mounting bracket and order 3 parts to make the conversion with my existing pump, which is working just fine. I did this for about $30 and that includes shipping. Saved $80!!! You'll order the new floor bracket, a hose that has a 90 on it to connect to the drum and... Read more

Replacement power cord for washers. Connects washer to wall outlet for electrical supply. Replace if cord is damaged, frayed, chewed, or cracked.
First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel.
