Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place). I bought the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Removed water inlet hose. Removed water outlet hose. Removed water inlet valve which was held on with one screw. Replaced the water inlet value. Reattached both hoses. It leaked a little bit, so I had to put plumbing tape and really make it tight. Then the leaked stopped. Read more

The plastic latch handle on my son & daughter-in-law's dishwasher. While taking off the control panel to look at the problem, I found out that a couple of the post holes in the control panel were broken. If you need to do this, you'll need a small Allen wrench to remove the top 6 screws from the inside of the door and a screwdriver or other tool to help pop some of the plastic clips on the door latch bracket and control board cover.
