Removed all the food from the freezer and most from the fridge before starting. Tipped fridge back until I could place a 2 x 4 a couple of inches behind the front rollers. With the front of the fridge now approximately 3 to 4" off the ground you can remove the adjusting bolt and the roller assembly can be pulled out of the brackets. Slide out of the notches where that hold it into the bracket. Same to install.

Replaced touch pad. Did run into a little problem. the new pad flashed up a code PED000 apparently the pad had to be programmed using the code from the serial number plate. Whirlpool service was zero help said code didn't exist. Found instructions how to do it on line. Found it on Google by asking what does this code mean. Anyway after following the instructions on reprogramming all is working great now. Thank you Appliance parts Pros.com

Replaced the Dispenser Keyboard Overlay and Control Board in about 5 minutes. No tools were required. The hardest part was removing all the sticky residue from the plastic panel that the old overlay left behind. I found that alcohol wipes did a great job at getting it off. We are back to 100% functional for under $200, and I couldn't be happier! Reading different posts on this site prior to ordering these parts helped to assure us that these were the parts we needed to replace. Thanks so much!
