Ordered Turn Table Shaft and replaced the broken one…very simple…only had to remove one screw to get to the part. Read more
Replaced turntable. The axels of the small wheels on the turn table degraded after hard usage (20 minutes of near continuous use on small tasks). They would now spark and smoke with noxious fumes. Trivial solution: replace the turn table (the wheels don't seem to be replaceable). Read more
CALLED APPLIANCE PROS,DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM AND THEY IDENTIFIED THE HEATING THERMAL FUSE AS WELL AS ANOTHER POSSIBLE FUSE.THEY TOLD ME WHERE IT WAS LOCATED IN THE MICRO HOUSING COMPARTMENT AS WELL.RECEIVED IT ON A FRIDAY AND CALLED ON A SATURDAY JUST TO BE SURE I DID NOT SWAP OUT THE WRONG ONE.A WOMEN ASSISTED ME THAT KNEW EXACTLY WHAT SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT.ITS A NEW WORLD WITH THE INTERNET AND THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A GREAT ONE. My husband is the hero in this story. At this time in our lives we weren't looking to purchase another microwave. Pull oven forward, supporting front on 3 step step stool (with rubber backed rug draped over the stool top handle. Remove the top access cover. Disconnect the 2 connectors that lead to the control panel (they are wide, white and at right angles to each other. This harness will come off with the control panel.
