It is difficult (if not impossible) to remove the electronic switches from the hard plastic latches. I replaced all three switches and both the upper and lower latches I also replaced the main 20 amp ceramic fuse which blew out when the latch/switches failed. Read more

Pulled dishwasher from the cabinet and flipped onto its side. Easy access to sump and drain flapper valve that I also replaced. Rubber sump coming apart into soft pills & chunks and plugging spray arms. Better now but it's rediculous that GE would make components that dissolve this way. Read more

Everything went well! The water inlet was easy to replace once the top and rear was opened. I've always wanted to replace the door seal as it was looking gross with 9 years of use. I was a little intimidated but after watching a few videos on YT it wasn't very difficult. Putting the spring back around the seal and re-installing the front was the most challenging part about it. Kenmore model 106.74252402 fridge with icemaker. Believe it or not, this was fixed with only a 1/4" nutdriver. The parts fit exactly and took 10 minutes each to replace. The most surprising was the inlet valve. I didn't need to cut any tubing since the old valve had push-connectors like the replacement. It was identical.
