Burner won't light or knob won't turn? This top burner valve controls gas flow to your range burners. DIY repair with basic tools in under an hour.
I called AppliancePartsPros.com to see if they carried the parts that I needed. They knew what parts I needed and they were in stock. When the valves arrived I took the stove apart and replaced the valves. The valves were easy to replace with a minimum amount of tools: A screwdriver, adjustable end wrench, and a 1/4" drive socket set. I have all the tools necessary to do this job, but if I didn't and had to buy them, it would still be less expensive than hiring a repair person to do this job... Read more

After reviewing a few blogs it was clear that Frigidaire is knows there is a problem. One of the blogs recommended AppliancePartsPros.com for a new pressure sensor switch and a water inlet valve. Dishwasher not filling with water or soap not dissolving? The water inlet valve controls water flow into your dishwasher. Takes about 1 hour to replace.
The indications made me think the dishwasher was not shooting water. I checked the water valve with a voltmeter and it was getting power to open. I disconnected the line to make sure the water line was not plugged. Then I bypassed the door switch and ran the dishwasher with the door open and did not see the water filling which pointed to the inlet valve. I ordered the valve which came quickly. Replaced the valve and now the dishes are clean! Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't fill, overfills, or shows a faucet error. This flow meter impeller jug regulates water flow during wash cycles.
1) Cleaned all sprayer arms. Many of the outlet holes were clogged with small debris (mostly small bits of food and a Jolly Rancher candy wrapper). 2) Removed circulation pump to clean impeller assembly. It was really clogged with stuff (more candy wrapper, shards of glass, a small metal screw). Luckily impeller fins were intact. 3) Re-assembled. Watch for some sharp edges when re-connecting sump well. 4) Performed three or so test wash cycles pulled out from under counter to make sure I had... Read more
Fix gas smell or burner ignition issues with this range top burner valve. Common repair for leaking gas odor when range is off. Moderate difficulty.
I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder. Read more
Fix error code ER 11 or partial draining issues with a new drain valve. Controls water release from your dishwasher. Moderate DIY difficulty repair.
Replaced the drain valve. duh. here's the kicker...original problem was circulation pump was broken. Paid $350 to have it "professionally" fixed, and when we turned it on, it wouldn't run, so "professional tech" said "it must be the control panel". So I say maybe, send him away, checked the indicator panel and sure enuf, drain valve light. So I ordered it here, replaced the valve, and it ran really funky with weird noises, Then water starts leaking under dw. So I figured I did something... Read more
