The Sensor Assembly is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This component is crucial for detecting and monitoring various conditions within the washing machine, such as water level, temperature, and load balance. It ensures the machine operates efficiently and effectively by providing accurate data to the control board.
Causes of a bad sensor assembly can include wear and tear from regular use, exposure to water and detergents, electrical malfunctions, or damage from impact. A faulty sensor assembly can lead to incorrect readings, which can affect the washing machine’s performance and lead to issues such as improper water levels or unbalanced loads.
Symptoms of a bad Sensor Assembly include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
I watched the Appliance Parts Pro video and saw that it was a job that I could easily do. I ordered the Rotor Position sensor switch for about $21 on a Monday and it was delivered by UPS on Wednesday. The process was straight forward: 1) remove the back cover from the washing machine (4 screws), 2) remove the main bolt holding the magnetic drum on the motor; 3) remove the 6 bolts holding the coil on the motor; 4) remove the ground screw and wire harness clamp screw; 5) take the old sensor... The Magnetron Thermostat is an OEM part for LG microwaves and built-in ranges. Its primary function is to monitor the temperature and ensure that it remains within a safe operating range. If the temperature exceeds the preset limit, the thermostat will interrupt the power supply to the magnetron, preventing overheating and potential damage.
Causes of a faulty magnetron thermostat can include electrical malfunctions, component failures, or physical damage. These factors can result in issues such as erratic heating, microwave not heating properly, or the appliance shutting off unexpectedly.
Symptoms of a bad magnetron thermostat may include:
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
Did some Google searches and most comments concerning this issue on LG stoves indicated the high temperature thermostat malfunctions when using the self cleaning function. This malfunction causes complete loss of power for the entire stove and locks the oven door. Since I wasn't completely sure if it was the thermostat or where it was for that matter, I called a service tech to troubleshoot the stove. He was able to determine it was the thermostat and further tested his findings by... Read more
The Thermistor Assembly is an OEM component specifically designed for front loading LG washing machines. It plays an important role in monitoring and regulating temperatures during heated wash cycles. The thermistor detects temperature changes within the wash drum and sends this information to the control board to ensure clothes are washed at the optimal temperature.
Causes of a bad thermistor assembly can include general wear and tear over time, exposure to extreme temperatures, or damage due to impact or mishandling during cycles.
Symptoms of a bad thermistor assembly include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore washers.

The Rotor Position Sensor is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This sensor monitors the speed and direction that the washing machine tub is spinning. It ensures the tub rotates properly in both clockwise and counterclockwise motions during cycles.
Causes of a bad rotor position sensor can include wear and tear from extended use agitating heavy loads, breakage from impact or moisture damage, or compromised wiring over time.
Symptoms of a bad rotor position sensor include:
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.
I was having trouble with my Kenmore Front Load washer. It wouldn't finish the wash cycle...it kept displaying an LE Error code. After I went to Google to help diagnose the problem, which was a bad RPS Sensor, I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. It literally took about 15-20 mins and with the help of my son-in-law, my washing machine was fixed!! It was going to cost me $85.00 for the Sears repairman to walk in my door, not including parts and labor, and I only paid $27.00... Read more
The Thermostat is an OEM part for LG wall ovens. It is a temperature-sensitive cut-off switch located near the oven's heating elements that monitors interior temperatures and prevents overheating within the appliance. Causes of a bad safety thermostat can be related to prolonged exposure to excessive heat inside the oven cavity, defects in the thermostat's microchip or coil components, or damage from corrosion or physical impact over time. Symptoms of a failed hi-limit thermostat include:
Looked online. Others said to start with the thermostat because its cheap and easy to fix, so I did. The thermostat is located at the rear of the oven on the back. You need to remove a total of 3 panels to get to it. Do not confuse it with the thermal sensor at the rear of the oven on top. My thermostat was clearly deformed, and I had never run a self clean like other with testify to. Simply replace it - easy. Oven worked like new. Read more
This wire harness routes power and signals between the washer's control and multiple components. Replace a damaged harness to restore dependable operation when wiring is cut, brittle, or connectors are heat-damaged or corroded.
This NTC thermistor is a refrigerator temperature sensor that monitors cooling system temperature and helps the control board maintain proper operation. It replaces a failed sensor to restore accurate temperature sensing and reliable cycle control. What it does:
This Thermostat Assembly monitors and regulates internal temperature within the appliance's heating circuit. Replacing a failed thermostat restores proper heat control, helps prevent overheating, and can resolve common heating performance issues so cycles run correctly. What it does
I replaced the thermostat unit and the heater worked again. So far so good!! Thanks to quick service from you and decent prices. Read more
Usually ships within 4 - 14 days
This time delay fuse protects the appliance from overheating by opening the circuit when temperatures exceed safe limits. It's a direct-replacement electrical safety fuse used in heating circuits to help prevent damage and fire risk. What it does:
Actual problem was due to a poor connection from the circuit board and HV transformer, over time this poor / loose connection began to arc causing enough heat to physically melt the connector and the contact to the thermistor. the problem was obvious but I still followed procedures to check all the components.*** NOTE*** ALWAYS UNPLUG DEVICE FIRST, WITH MICROVAVES, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, DISCHARGE HV CAPICITOR, IT CAN KILL YOU! just take your time testing components, following your electronic...
