This Frigidaire model requires power to be disconnected before servicing. Power is going to the elements at all times and the control switches close to the ground side. removed the back panel to have access to the wiring of the element. Disconnect the two wires to the broil element and then opened the oven door and removed the screws holding the element in place. Carriage bolt for outdoor power equipment. Secures scraper blades, decks, and attachments. Replace if missing, stripped, or corroded during repair.
Removed old scraper blade. Filed away bent edges where casing was worn. Installed new scraper blade and bolts. added a backing plate to body where erosion occurred. East repair.
