Removed refrigerator panel, disconnected light and fan power. Removed fan assembly and replaced motor, grommets and fan attachment spring. Unit had adhesive on spring to help hold the spring. Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge. Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing. Read more

Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together. Because the Fan Motor on the Fridge side was not working originally, the Evaporator coil would freeze up AND the water dispenser would freeze up as well. Based on what I found on the internet, I ordered the Temperature Sensor and Thermal Fuse first with AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced them. Even after that, it was the same symptom with the fridge temperature. Had a technician come in to diagnose that the problem is with the Motor Fan.
