Michael P Dunwoody , GA January 07, 2019 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHP65T55UC/07 Recessed pocket door handle was cracked In order to replace this, you must remove the "outer door". This service manual is a pretty good reference (page 37): http://members.msaworld.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/02/2013-DW-Service-Manual.pdf Note that this specific dishwasher has 12 screws that need to be removed before the outer door can be separated. Once separated, don't even bother trying to push the broken handle out of the front as suggested. You will probably end up damaging the outer door. Instead, take some snips and cut the plastic clips that are holding the broken door handle in place from behind. It will practically drop out of the front. Once the old handle is removed, simply insert the new handle from the front and snap it into place. Re-assemble the outer door and you're done! Larry N Scotts Valley , CA December 28, 2017 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHP65T55UC/02 Replacement of the pocket door handle The hardest part was getting the broken handle out of the door. After removing the three screws that held it in place, it still did not want to come lose. I had to pry it loose, being careful not to damage the door, with a thin steel scrapper. Once out, I cleaned up the adhesive and popped the new new handle in place. Philip R Nashville , TN November 30, 2019 Door handle broke Replacing door handle was straight forward .12 screws on the inside of the door, 3 screws on the outside. I would highly recommend the 2nd set of hands to keep the door panel from hitting the floor. Once the panel is loose remove the controls which just slide up and out, set the door panel on a flat surface. Pop-out the old handle which has some plastic tabs holding it in place. Pop in the new handle.Set door panel back in place and loosely start replacing the screws again 2nd set of hands helps with installation 20-minute project.Happy wife happy life. Good luck.
