I unplugged the fridge and took all the food and shelving out of the freezer and then proceeded to take off the bottom sliding drawer rack on both sides off (4 Phillips head screws). Then took off the light bulb cover and then the light bulb. Then the back wall that covers the coils and tubes that the refrigerant runs through ( 2 screws with hex head). Shut off power in the panel box - easier than getting at the plug behind the unit. Had to take out the lower full-width drawer and the two crispers next. Removed two screws on the shelf above the wide drawer and removed the two shelf parts. Next was removing a screw from each wide drawer support. We replaced the main circuit board and the LED started to work and the condenser fan worked, but all we had were relay clicking sounds, but no cooling. I ordered a new switch from APP and fixed my fridge. However, the video posted for this repair on this site is not applicable to newer refrigerator models. I have a 2015 GE GTE18IHCRSS and had to drop the control housing (#432 in the diagram) to attach the wire/plug assembly to the switch. Only had to remove the front screw with a 1/4" nut driver and that provided enough of a gap for me to plug in the switch. First let me say that we have been having a warm ff section since this refrigerator GE Mod GFE27GGDEWW since new.
